A newlywed couple (United Kingdom) have sued their wedding photographer for breach of contract after paying £1,450 for a collection of pictures that showed people with their heads chopped off, random close-ups of vehicles and inattentive wedding guests.

In some ways, you get what you pay for here. £1,450 isn't very much when you consider it covers videography, photography, an album, a canvas, a portrait print and thank you cards. Not arguing that the service provided is disgraceful in this instance, but I think what is of greater concern is that the photographer has mislead the customers and deceived them into believing they are getting more than he can possibly provide. As a wedding photographer myself, I agree with the comments on here by Peter Jones - you should be able to verify a photographer's true work and view it in advance in full. I post (with the permission of my clients of course) the full set of 400-500 images online for them and their guests (and others for that matter) to view. Not saying this is the only or best way to do it, but people deserve to know what they are getting with something as important as a wedding. Sadly, every industry has its cowboys and that unfortunately makes it messier for those of us trying to do the right thing by our clients.

80% of the deposit is refundable up to 4 weeks, before the event.
Rest Payment: Direct to the photographer in Ghana,

Final price: You pay the price of your BOOKING day Please be aware, most people get married on weekends and bank holidays. And I do not have unlimited photographers...
If wish, my photographer is happy to travel to any other location. (Not Brong-Ahafo and Northern Regions)
If the EVENT is outside Accra and Tema, you may need to provide a place for the photographer.(simple bed)
(Greater Accra and parts of Ashanti/Eastern/Central/Volta Region)
This may (please request first) cost up to $ 25 in addition-to pay direct to the photographer in Ghana.
