Claudy and raining from time to time. I am am on my way to the Cwm Deri Vineyard in Martletwy, Pembrokeshire, South Wales. About 10 - 15 minutes drive from Oakwood Theme Park. Cwm Deri Vineyard is not just a farm, but you`ll find there an restaurant which offers Lunch 7 days a week. Evening Meals Friday/Saturday. There is a wine tasting available at any time the restaurant is open, including over your evening meal in the restaurant.

Travelling from Luton (England), back in time, I came along the small, but more than 1000 year old and historically important village of Bierton. You`ll find there the St. Osyth`s Well, named after the Saxon princess Osyth and church of St. James the Great, as well as an 16th century Pub, the "Red Lion", who had to play a part of the English civil war...

Visiting Wales - Visit the Rhondda Heritage Park, near Pontypridd. Rhondda area is highly recommended, as having a fantastic landscape, geat history and beautiful towns and vilages within the Rhondda valleys. The Rhondda Heritage Park South Wales is a tourist attraction which offers an insight into the life of the coal mining community that existed in the area until June 1983.
Opening times are from 10.30 am. Within the visitor centre (entrance building) of the old mining area you will find in the upper floor a lovely cafe. A Cafe Late, freshly prepared just £1.50. But you may order also a full meal.

The Visitor Centre includes an indoor 'village street', artefact exhibition galleries, the temporary exhibition gallery. The gift shop offers a variety of souvenirs, memorabilia of the coal mine and Wales at large.
