Milford Haven, Wales (c) EventPicture UK - Fish and sea food was the dish of the last two days at Milford Haven Fish Festival on Saturday and Sunday.

Thousands welcomed Pembrokeshire Fish Week 2016 back to Milford Haven shores.

Pembrokeshire Fish Week features a variety of events, from cooking demonstrations to marine fun days, coastal foraging, learn-to-fish events, seashore picnics, and more across the county of Pembrokeshire throughout the whole week.

The patron saint of Wales is Saint David, Dewi Sant in Welsh. St. David's Day is celebrated on 1 March, which some people argue should be designated a public holiday in Wales.

Other days which have been proposed for national public commemorations are 16 September (the day on which Owain Glyndŵr's rebellion began) and 11 December (the death of Llywelyn ap Gruffudd).

The traditional seasonal festivals in Wales are:
Fish Festival and Fish Week in Pembrokeshire. A festival celebrated in June / July of each year.
